What is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing is made up of tools like search engine marketing, social media, blogging, articles, video creation, email marketing and online pay per click advertising.



Ask a person whether he or she knows some of the icons above. Most of them will say they are familiarized with them. Why?

The phenomenon

People prefer brands that they can trust, companies that know them, relevant and personalized communications, offers that are tailored to their anticipated needs and preferences.

What about Digital Marketing?

Traditional marketing relies on tools and mediums newspaper, radio, television, magazines, billboards, direct mail any other forms of physical or materials.
 
Does traditional marketing work?
Traditional marketing is still relevant, it provides satisfactory results when done well and strategically designed. Nevertheless, digital marketing is second to none. Digital marketing is averagely more cost efficient, effective and allows marketers to monitor and analyse data. (Erhart, 2016)
